Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is the next major route to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker after Express Entry.
All ten provinces and two territories operate a PNP to attract skilled workers from all over the world. The Provincial Nominee Program allows provinces and territories to support the immigration of people who:
have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory and
have expressed an interest in settling in their province or territory.
Express Entry candidates who obtain a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and are effectively guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
